They were both gamblers, and they'd gambled away a fortune. So they had to keep working. They weren't on speaking terms for quite a while. The gambling put a strain on the relationship. It was all so silly.

I miss Lloyd. He could get amongst the strings. Yay!

Harpo was in full Marx Brother's costume. It seemed odd that Groucho wasn't wearing the greasepaint moustache and eyebrows.

Loved all the Marx brothers but Groucho is my favorite! Used to quote his lines at school when I could work them into conversation!

How Jim Crowish this episode was. They told Stymie he couldn’t come in. Blacks weren’t allowed to dine in the same room as whites. Stymie, hungry, used subterfuge to get a meal. Pretty damn clever of him to outsmart the social injustice

Amazing they could smoke cigars inside a tv studio and no one seems to mind. Those things smell to high heaven.
